Knitting and Crafts

I love to do crafts and projects of any kind.  Mostly though, I sew and knit.  There's something relaxing about the whirring of the machine or the clicking needles, about doing something productive while at the same time simply sitting.  I don't get to it very often, but when I do, its hard for me to stop.

In the Works:
Currently I'm working on a hat, mitten and neck warmer set for Hayden.  I'm using the kindergarten-kit pattern from Pickles.  I've frogged it twice, not because its hard but because I was trying to knit while the boys were awake.  Note: Don't try that at home. I'll post pics when I'm done.  Because I will finish this project before winter...or at least before winter is over.

Other projects on my to do list that I have yet to start:
1.) Activity advent calendar
2.) Sew curtains for my living room
3.) A scarf for me (I've only had the yarn for 2 years now)
4.) Maybe some Christmas projects if I get around to it.

Recently Finished:
I finally finished Mason's baby blanket, which I started while pregnant with him.  I love the pattern, found here.  I wrote about it in this post.  It was a neat knit and will probably be my go-to blanket for other special babies of friends and family.
